I was stunned today when I had a flat tire! Not by that event, but when I went into a Discount Tire place and received my bill after a short wait and excellent service and saw: 0.00 due!

“What, I exclaimed….all that for free?”The young man behind the counter asked, “why do you suppose we do that?”"Oh, I blurted, to create future business.”"Nope,” was the retort….to keep you safe!!”  

My G-D, a business with a conscience rather than a bottom line. Gorp immediatly gave Discount Tire a bigggg kindness award! Would that there were more businesses like that.

George Clooney’s new movie, Leathernecks isn’t the only thing going on in Duluth, MN.  Hope you can join us on April 25th for the Spring Splash….it benefits First Witness, Duluth’s child abuse center. Gorp and I will venture from sunny southern California to see if Spring really has sprung…..join us!!! The cause couldn’t be a better one.

I just received a copy of Gorp’s new book which empowers our youngest kids against sexual abuse. That such a topic is even necessary grieves me.

Once I quit crying, I’m going to feel real good that we’re doing something about this problem. Everytime I think of the sub-human ‘beasts’ who dare to touch our children my blood crawls. I hope a lot of you feel as I do and will help Gorp work on this horrific problem! The books will be here in 3 weeks.

Yea! We’re up and running and really looking forward to creating a community with all of you.  We plan on having a good time while helping our children have better, safer, sweeter lives!   Together we can make a difference.
